Valor de referencia
The valor de referencia is a government-determined reference value that can be used as a minimum tax base for purchase taxes (e.g. ITP/AJD), even if your purchase price is lower.
💡 Tip: Check the valor de referencia before you buy to avoid surprises in cost of buyer.
⚠️ Warning: If your purchase price is lower than the reference value, the taxman can still levy taxes on that higher basis.
